Director
Yiotis was born in London to Greek Cypriot parents and, as a result, is fluent in Greek. His family later relocated to Eastbourne after purchasing a hotel, which they ran successfully until Advanta secured a planning appeal for its redevelopment. This marked the first successful case in Eastbourne of converting a hotel into residential accommodation.
After completing university, Yiotis joined the Eastbourne branch of a regional firm that had previously acted, for his family’s hotel, and which later evolved into Advanta. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003 and became a founding director of Advanta in 2005.
Yiotis works with a wide range of clients, supporting them with computerised bookkeeping and payroll services. He has a particular interest in tax planning and helping clients minimise their tax liabilities efficiently.
Coming from a large extended family, Yiotis has continued the tradition with seven children. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym and playing golf, where he modestly admits to "hacking his way" around the course.
